Overview

US Ocean has the tonnage, technical expertise, and experience to handle the transport of a variety of helicopter makes and models; as well as flyable airframes and components. We have successfully and safely handled a diverse range of moves that have required a combination of particular technical expertise, precise lifting and lashing requirements; and specialized lifting equipment. US Ocean is also Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) certified to handle the movement of ospreys.

Transport

Our vessels are equipped to safely transport your helicopter cargoes:

  • Adjustable tweendecks allow for the configuration of hold heights to best accommodate different makes and models of helicopters and allow for multiple cargo configurations
  • Vessel box holds allow for the efficient storage of helicopters and obstruction free loading
  • Geared vessels allow for aircraft to be placed on board in multiple configurations in specific locations
  • Our fleet’s cranes have the sufficient hook height to handle helicopters in any configuration
