Contracted with a U.S. Flag ocean carrier for multiple, small lot, part cargo shipments in advance, allowing the carrier time to locate additional cargoes for the voyage. Allowed for non-direct voyages, but contracted carrier for required delivery dates against a liquidated damage clause.

"For the PP-11 project, the challenge that the project faced was that there were a number of heavy cargoes requiring special handling and there was other equipment that was critical to the success of the project.
"We worked closely with the U.S. Flag carriers and coordinated with MARAD to develop an advanced shipping plan and contracted with a carrier for multiple part cargo shipments that allowed us to move these complex cargoes in an efficient, safe and timely manner."
