Our Approach

Speaking of the project, Dave Howard of Gamesa said, "For our project, a key objective was to have all of the equipment for the project delivered to Honduras over a four month period.

"We selected a U.S. Flag carrier that worked with us to review the equipment requirements for the project and come up with a plan to minimize voyages.

In the end, we executed on the plan and delivered a total of 125,000 RT of wind equipment utilizing multiple US Flag vessels for large lot shipments over a four month period. These vessels loaded cargo from three (3) different U.S. load ports."

Because of our advanced planning, we met our time goals for the ocean carriage and came in under our ocean transportation budget.
